corkware expresso cup & saucer - designed in 2000 by Rui Granjo is part of a full dinner set still waiting for production.

2000 - This was my final project at Kingston University, in the long gone year of 2000.
It aimed to combine two very distinct but traditional materials, ceramics and cork. in a sustainable and modern way (the excess cork dust could help power the ceramics oven).
The cork outer shell can be removed to ease washing.
I will at some point upload the full set (including dinner set & thermos flask), which has never gone into production.
